Alistair Carr

Having spent over 30 years living and working in London as an architectural illustrator, I have hung up my well trodden boots and moved to the New Forest to start a new venture. Although I’m still taking on freelance Architectural work I’m interested in painting for myself and enjoying the freedom from the restrictions of having to translate architects drawings and using 3d cad software to produce a final product.

My passion is drawing and painting and observing, whether it be portraiture, urban or landscape. I use oils, acrylic and watercolour and realise the endless possibilities of application and subject matter.
